Every two weeks, we will publish a list of three targeted topics.
One winning activity from each topic will receive a £10 Amazon voucher reward.**

Tagging Activities

A tagging screen has been added to the end of activities, asking teachers to review the suitability of each activity by grade level, exam board and overall quality. We will be using this data to help shape new SAM Learning features and aid teachers with content discovery in the future.
Please help us by giving your feedback as you review and use the content.

*Terms and Conditions for Get to 5: Vouchers will be awarded by SAM Learning based on the criteria below. SAM Learning’s decision is final. Rewards will be processed by email within 2 weeks of the 5th activity being published. The name of rewarded teachers and their school may be used in the SAM Learning newsletter and on the SAM Learning website. Contributing teachers may also be contacted by email for other SAM Learning promotions. To qualify: 1. The 5 activities must be published to SAM Learning and shared with all schools; 2. Activities must be original, teacher-created content; 3. Activities must contain questions and marks; 4. Activities using free text screens must include a mark scheme that students can use to self-mark (including examples where more than one answer is possible); 5. Activities must be suitable for students to complete independently and be relevant for the key stage and subject for which they are written; 6. Activities must contain a minimum of 5 screens; 7. Activities must not make use of copyrighted material; any third-party materials used must be public domain or have a Creative Commons licence.
**Terms and Conditions for Targeted Activities: Three targeted topics will be published on a two-week cycle during school term time (60 topics per year). For each topic, one winning activity will be selected from the qualifying entries and rewarded with a £10 Amazon voucher. Winners will be chosen by SAM Learning. The judge’s decision is final. Rewards will be processed by email within 2 weeks of the deadline. Winning activities will be converted to Share+ and made part of the main SAM Learning menu. The name of winning teachers and their school may be used in the SAM Learning newsletter and on the SAM Learning website. To qualify: 1. Targeted activities must be published to Share before midnight on the deadline day; 2. Targeted activities must use the suffix ‘TA’ at the end of the activity title, e.g. Language in Othello – TA; 3. Targeted activities must either be original, teacher-created content published to Share or personalised activities with at least 3 screens added; 4. Targeted activities must not make use of any copyrighted material; any third-party materials used must be public domain or have a Creative Commons licence; 5. Targeted activities must contain marks; 6. Targeted activities using free text screens must include a mark scheme that learners can use to self-mark (including examples where more than one answer is possible); 7. Targeted activities must be suitable for learners to complete independently and be relevant for the key stage and subject for which they are written; 8. Targeted activities must contain clear questions and instructions; 9. Targeted activities must contain a minimum of five screens.
***Terms and Conditions for Tagging Activities: Tagged activities will be reviewed at the end of each month. One winning teacher will be selected and rewarded with a £50 Amazon voucher. Winners will be chosen by SAM Learning team. The judge’s decision is final. Rewards will be processed by email within 2 weeks of the end of the month. The name of winning teachers and their school may be used in the SAM Learning newsletter and on the SAM Learning website. Tags applied when using Activity Builder to publish activities are excluded from this reward.
SAM Learning reserves the right to withdraw/amend incentive schemes at any time.
