Case Study: SAM Learning Supports Off-site Students at The Nobel School, Stevenage
A quote from Barry Burningham, Deputy Headteacher:
‘The SAM Learning platform has evolved greatly over recent years, enabling The Nobel School to now use SAM Learning in a variety of different ways because it is so powerful, flexible and adaptable.
‘SAM Learning is proving very useful and effective as we set up our new “Alternative Provision” as a separate internal learning base and as part of our many school intervention strategies. Students not in lessons for a variety of different reasons can be quickly set work and monitored successfully, including students off site. The Special Educational Needs Department (SEND) use SAM Learning daily to support a wide variety of learners including “Not Secondary Ready”.’

We are excited to present new support for Subject Leaders, SEND and SENCOs.
Product Update: Tagging Screen
We are asking teachers to review the suitability of each activity by grade level, exam board and overall quality. Please help us by giving your feedback as you review and use the content. This will help us to shape future SAM Learning features.
Free PDF Resources for your Classroom
During July, we are offering Amazon voucher rewards for publishing activities using Share.
Full details of rewards for July are here.
NEW Share Content
The Share icon indicates this is one of thousands of activities created by teachers at other SAM Learning schools.
- 574 Share activities were published in June 2019, including 523 targeted activities.
- 21 teachers earned Amazon voucher rewards for their activities in June.
- 21 Share+ activities were published in GCSE English Literature, Science and Computer Science.
Share+ activities are selected by SAM Learning from Share content each month via a quality assurance process. The activities are edited, checked for copyright and some design elements added. They are then re-published as part of the main SAM Learning content. Any teacher who has their activities selected for Share+ will receive an Amazon voucher as a thank you.
The menu for KS3 Religious Education has been updated to make the activities easier to find. 250 activities are available in this subject area.
