I think the top 5 features and benefits of SAM learning is that students can access the learning from anywhere so it is flexible, there are resources from all subjects and all key stages, you can set tasks appropriate to where your students are up to and even add or amend resources, students can mark their work so they get immediate feedback and finally it is very user friendly.
In terms of challenges, this is really good at motivating students to revise. Additionally, students who are currently not in school for a variety of reasons can be set tasks so they don’t fall behind.
We initially considered SAM learning because students weren’t sure how to revise and we thought this would be a good way in for them.
We use SAM for English and Maths intervention for PP and SEND students. This has been a really effective strategy providing immediate feedback and allowing students to build upon prior knowledge. The Three-wave functionality is excellent because it really allows for personalised provision to take place according to your setting.
Whenever I email SAM learning, someone always gets back to me immediately with solutions. Cannot fault the customer service.
I would not hesitate to recommend other schools.
