SAM Learning Founder Wins Outstanding Achievement Award at Bett Awards 2021

At this year’s Bett awards SAM Learning’s Founder, David Jaffa received Bett’s Outstanding Achievement Award.

David Jaffa, Founder of SAM Learning, has been at the heart of the EdTech community since the early 1990s, founding EdTech enterprises and educational curriculum software companies, the most influential of which was started in 1998 and is now used in thousands of schools across the UK and around the world.

David plays an active role supporting fellow founders and helping support young people through his charitable foundation which aims to build a curriculum to teach young people the life skills to flourish and make a contribution in their chosen field. Most recently David has established a further charitable institution, the National Talent Academy, to coach students in work-related skills and help them find work placements and apprenticeships.

A quote from David,

“I’ve known of the Bett Outstanding Achievement Award for at least 15 years and it feels unbelievable to receive the recognition of my peers in EdTech. Of course, this isn’t just about me, and I feel hugely grateful for the hard work and dedication of hundreds of colleagues and for the support of hundreds of thousands of teachers and several million students since this journey began in 1993.”
